I saw this as a very slightly opened bud yesterday morning and went off for a swim, hoping to get a shot of an unfurling bud when I got back. (inspired by Patricia's lovely shot see: http://365project.org/tishpics/365/2012-06-04) On my return it had already opened this far- has a slightly pinky tinge which disappears when it is fully opened.
@tishpics Thank you Patricia and specially for the fav - yes, poppies are truly spectacular in the garden - never tried to bring one indoors, don't think they would like it!
