Day 6: Yellow - a touch of yellow

a busy bee in a dahlia in some gardens which were our 'pit-stop' en route to Bath today.

A beautiful shot Hazel, that red is so vibrant and makes the yellow contrast superbly. Lovely!

Patricia, thank you. I took 3 shots of this and this one showed off the yellow/red contrasts much better than the other two - to do with the position of the bee I think. @tishpics

Nature show us the warning signs / colors What a beautiful close up this is . Wish my camera could do so.

The red grabs your attention and draws the eye to the centre. The red/yellow stamen is a contrast as is the bee who is perfectly captured. You just want to cuddle all that fluffy, fuzz.

@pyrrhula Thank you. I only use a small Canon point and shoot but it does seem perfect for close-ups.
