I think I need to make some more marmalade

That looks delishhhh.......care parcels to NZ gratefully accepted. Love the deep rich colours that has made my mouth water.

@doblaine On holiday, Sue at the B&B was making marmalade one day and gave me a pot to bring home. Nearly all gone. Think I might make some lemon curd today and save the marmalade making for another day.

ooh! Lemon curd care packages gratefully accepted here in upstate NY!!! I love the colors and glass itself. The effect with the slight coating of the marmalade is almost like looking through hand blown glass - thick and slightly light bending. OK, now I'm hungry - I'm going to go make breakfast.

It also reminds me a little of a Monet's water lilies. I can't really explain it, but it may be that quality of watery light through the glass.

Rather lovely shot through the glass and definitely time to make some more! I am waiting for my annual delivery of quinces (from a friend) and then I shall make quince and orange marmalade which is really delicious!

@tishpics That is a new recipe to me although my mother used to make quince jelly as we had a quince bush in the garden.

@svarri @svarri Thanks for your interesting comments and I hope you had a good breakfast!

@quietpurplehaze I invented it as I already had too much quince jelly. I do cheat a bit for this and use Mamade for the orange content!

@tishpics I wasn't intending to say but Mamade is what I'm going to use to make marmalade this time. I love marmalade made with Seville oranges but it's the cutting up of the peel that I find laborious and mine usually ends up very thick cut!

That looks delicious! Homemade is the best too!

@nana2r It was delicious and is the first time a pot of marmalade has been given to me by a B&B landlady where we have stayed! Must get down to doing mine now.

Marmalade is the only jam I like if it is n`t to sweet. Home made we go for.
Nice capture of the empty jar
