The local council inaugurated a monthly glass collection. I wish they hadn't as I'm not proud of the number of wine bottles we put out. Well, after all, there are 4 of us (oh, suppose I can't count Jinks). And it's not the day, pouring with rain, to go out the back for a shot of the offending articles.

@tishpics Well it's a little bit amusing as putting out the bottles is a designated task of Neil's and he also puts out those for Bert, opposite, 85, who finds it a bit of a struggle. Bert only ever has 4 or 5 bottles so I jokingly said to Neil to put some of our bottles in with his. But (purist that he is {like his mother}) Neil puts Bert's bottles in with ours!

@pyrrhula Yes, I preferred that anonymous way of disposing of glass and it's what we did before the collection was introduced. (I wondered if somebody would come round and see who put out the most wine bottles in their box and give us a lecture on drinking too much alcohol!!!!!)
