One way to stop Jinks barking -

pick him up - if you can catch him! He knew that Ray was waiting this morning to be picked up to go on the ramble. And that HE wasn't going! Ray took him once and spent half the time trying to stop Jinks getting to the lead position and the other half trying to stop him rounding up the stragglers at the end position. Never again!
