@gerry@purplehaze12 JInks is not always friendly to other dogs except for one or two whom he considers to be his special friends! I dread meeting the local vicar with his alsatian as Jinks goes ballistic when he sees it and will not stop barking. This is a lovely new husky malamute puppy in the area and Jinks does just tolerate him! Yes I agree most little dogs do have big attitude!
LOL! great capture Hazel! in my experience dogs are often quite different when off the leads - less wary of each other - but I know its not possible a lot of the time. Poor Jinks! Your title is perfect!
@tishpics Well I'm sorry to say that Jinks is never off lead as he is so disobedient at coming back! I'm prepared to admit it's my fault (!) but he just can't be trusted. I do know of another dog owner of a Westie, cousin breed to Jinks and the dog, when off lead on a walk, sometimes goes missing all day - I just couldn't cope with that!
@quietpurplehaze Oh gosh no Gazel, I wasn't suggesting you should!! Far from it, Bertie is exactly the same and although I do let him off its only miles from the roads and each time I know I am taking a risk - like when he got into the pheasant pens! He rarely comes back to my call! I just observed he is fine with other dogs if he is off the lead (and can get away) but on the lead he puts on a macho act!!
Yep I'm always gazing at something with a view for a pic for 365!
Somebody once said they thought Jinks was protecting me in his antagonism towards other dogs!!! @tishpics
