A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
It gets weirder, Darren. I went to Sainsbury's yesterday to look for a £5 orchid, having seen them on my last visit, but there were only 2 left. So I went to M&S next door for my other shopping and saw this one reduced from £12 to £6! What colour is your orchid? (And now we have France, orchids and Sainsbury's in common!!)
@quietpurplehaze my orchid is the same as yours :) they are stunning aren't they? Was reluctant to spend £12 on one previously, but at a fiver I thought why not?!
Paul doesn't get the whole concept of plants or flowers in the house and often eggs Woody on to eat them as for some reason he likes to!
Perhaps we knew each other in a past life :D *twilight zone music starts playing*
Have a great weekend. I will as we found out HMV lives on yesterday. I had the honour of sitting in on a conference call announcing the good news. Hopefully things will get back to the good old years of the late 90s early 00s :)
What does twilight zone music sound like??!!! I'm not religious but re-incarnation has a certain appeal so yes, maybe we did. I thought of you when we saw the item on HMV on the TV news. I have to have (too many) plants in the house. Have a great weekend, too!
Beautiful - they are so easy aren't they . I have two which have just finished flowering now One had been flowering continuously since my 2011 Birthday sixteen months ago !!
@quietpurplehaze Hazel - I'm afraid a lot of neglect !!! I do not think they like to be over watered but I did buy a feed for them in a spray form which you sprayed on the leaves & soil !! I think they like constant warmth they sit on my dining room window sill shaded from direct sun by the only room in the house which has net curtain
I think I've gradually realised that they thrive on neglect - have had some re-flowering but never one in constant flower for a long period. So do you water once a fortnight, or say once a month?

I've not been as successful as you! Please tell me what is your watering regime?
Well no sorry I don't and would like to say 'before my time'. Hee Hee!
