I was idly taking pics of the church bell when I spied Bert coming over the pedestrian crossing. He was happy for me to take a pic and told me that he has 'all the kit' at home because he went back to college and got Photography A-level at the age of 65 (he's now 87). He also did French and German O-level. We've lived opposite each other for nearly 40 years and it's taken 365 to find out more about him.

Hazel I am frustrated my usual laptop down ( virus me thinks !!)and this one has been a pain in the but since I got it --will not allow me to download any photos . Arm prevents me driving , but laptops need attention !! Shall have to wait until my friend takes me for my hosp app next week !! Very very frustrated !!!!

Beryl, I'm really sorry that you are feeling frustrated at not being able to get on and do what you want to do. So you have a literal pain in the shoulder and a metaphorical pain in the arm from the laptop - what a pain indeed! I am not the world's best when it comes to being patient so I do sympathise. Hope the hospital app goes well. Keep calm!

That's an amazing achievement for Bert, and I love the way that 365 got you to find out more about him. A local friend in her 70's recently died very unexpectedly and it was only at her funeral that I found out lots of things about her that I would have loved to have chatted with her about.
