I'm not a fan of baths and can even find just sitting there in hot water, perhaps with a few bubbles, a bit depressing. (I've tried reading a book but I expect you can guess what happens to it!) So it's showers for me but on the rare 'bath occasion' it has to be candles rather than harsh electric light.
I feel exactly the same way. This is very lovely and you have made it have a very "spa" effect. Nicely composed and the reflection makes it perfect. Love the color and the lighting is superb.
Ahhhh .... there is nothing better than a soak in the tub! Perhaps you need a glass of wine to go with it :) Beautiful colors and lighting ... makes me want to fill the tub!
I am with Linda @linah all the way- no rushing of water all over your body, but a soothing relaxing soak in a candle-lit bubbly bath !! Lovely !! Nice capture Hazel
Great ambiance and light for the photo! Baths are not one of those things I really love--on occasion, yes, but I can't read a book, and the water gets cold too fast. But for just a few minutes, it's lovely. :)
I like it but I never allow me the time for it. And candle`s are a woman`s like , I guest ( Ina do , I prefer tube/TL light , so I can see what I`m doing)

Thank you for all your comments. I was quite pleased that I managed to get a better shot using my own settings than using the camera on auto for this! The bath/shower issue seems to be quite well divided from those who have commented.................
Each to their own I guess... I find the quick briskness of showers depressing and would rather have a long soak in a hot scented bath by candlelight - it's a lovely way to wind down at night. The candles in this shot have come out perfectly and the little stars of light are a lovely touch.
