Beautiful colors and reflections - a really nice assortment. What are these used for - passengers?? We don't have anything quite like that here. We have passenger ferries and boats. What we call barges are generally huge things that carry freight and are pulled in using tugboats.
Barges operate on canals/inland waterways in England. These ones would be privately owned and used for leisure. Some people do live on barges but mostly used for holidays I think.

Some folk do live on barges but also some just use them for weekends etc. A bit cramped inside I would think!
