.... en route home from Bath. What a lovely week we had and now we've collected Jinks from the dogsitter (he - Jinks that is - barked at me which, I think, means 'pleased to see you'); I've processed a load of washing; Ray is cleaning the car which is partially a shade of beige instead of white from the journey to Bath in the drizzle; Neil is going to cook the evening meal - wonder what it will be?
The weather was kind to us; the B&B was great as usual and lots to see and do.
I've just added up, from the memory cards of 3 cameras, (next time I vow I'm taking only one) how many pics I took and find it's a total of 940 in 8 days. Just interested to know if that would be typical for any of you? More? Fewer?
Oh, and thanks to Ray for putting up with my photographic habits and especially for stopping by the side of he road so I could get this last holiday shot.
This is a lovely shot Hazel and you are blessed that Ray will stop the car to get it, I don't think I could persuade James to do that!
I travel with my DSLR, my compact, and the ubiquitous phone camera, and I 've just checked my hit rate for Cyprus - so far I've kept 1044 from 13 days, so I'm well behind you!!
Awesome country and nature view. Most be great to have a walk in it.
I`m doing the same. Take often 100 pic.`s of more when I`ve my day of ``photo safari``.
Lovely landscape Hazel. But it still looks like winter!! I like the copse at the top of the hill.
On your question of how many photos does anyone take I find I take as many as I think will give me a good image .. Yesterday I took about 15 and I have just gone out now to take a photo of my dicentra and took 6 images. I tend to take about 30 to 40 images if I am away for a couple of days. But if anything interesting crops up I usually go into meltdown and take a lot more! I try not to go mad as I have thousands of images stored on CDS the computer and the cloud:(.
Yes it does look like winter but there are lots of blossom trees around and also leaves appearing - I think these must be trees that come into leaf last! I think I have to stop trying to get a shot when I know really it won't work - and, yes, 6 of a flower etc is normal for me. I only keep a fraction of what I take - I'm great at deleting!!! Thanks for answering.
Oh lovely patchwork shot, I do wish you hadn't asked the question, I can rack up so many shots sometimes, today alone was 200+ i do live for the delete button - I have been known to take 500+ some days; I do have a very patient hubbie:0)

Thanks for your photo info, Ferry!
Claire, thanks you've made me feel a lot better!! But my aim is definitely to be more discerning in the future!
Ross, thank you - I like what you see in photos.
