A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Aah !! this is good Hazel --you have captured great depth, sharpness and clarity in the b /w image Lovely composition from your pov with great shadows and reflections---an instant fav
B&W really focus attention on the subject of the bridge and less on the traffic. Is/was that a toll gate on the bridge?
I like the reflections too great job all round
That's a 'lock-up' slightly left of centre on the bridge. (The white van behind it is a nuisance but I felt it not worth cloning it out - or was too lazy! Might have to do it now I've written it down!!!)
Strange to say that before I decided to do this mono month in an album, I didn't even like b&W! Now I see its virtues. So far these are all converted from colour shots which I understand is the preferred way to get b&w photos.
Beautiful photo. An excellent cholce for b&w. this is such a sharp picture. Love the reflections on the water. Excellent processing. Well done on the Trending Page.

Karen, you are very kind, as ever - in fact I prefer this in b&w conversion rather than the original colour.
Thank you -beginning to like b&w!
Yes, they call it the 'lock-up'!
