My dad also loved photography and many of his years' enjoyment of it were restricted to black and white so I have also processed this shot http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/365/2014-05-25

After a closer second look i`m gonna like the B+W version more and more. So many different tint`s of grey/black
I like the colour, but also the b&w too - perhaps because the dahlia has strong lines and shapes which translate well into black and white. Hope you've been having a good weekend, Ferry.
