lavender's blue

This row of lavender was full of bees and butterflies but I took the easy option and got a shot of the lavender itself, which only moved a little in the breeze.

Along the margins of the river were bright turquoise damselflies dancing in pairs in the air. I didn't get a shot of them either. I did try!
