The wildlife in our garden is teasing me: the robin keeps singing invisibly in the trees beyond the stream and a young squirrel appears whenever my camera is not at the ready.
This morning, when I looked out of the bedroom window, he was sitting on top of the neighbour's dead fir tree, outlined on top of its bare outline. If only I'd gone to bed with my camera! And I'm thankful for my friend the giraffe at the zoo!
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
As I was reading your comments, for a second I thought that you were going to see your friend the giraffe outside your window! Kane is right... synchronized chewing. Cute shot.
Wonderful shot! I agree, I never seem to have my camera when I need it. This afternoon a butterfly landed on the chair next to me and I didn't have my camera. :(
Funny you should write that, Sam, as I was thinking over breakfast that I should come back and edit my post!
I guess we could just squeeze one in!
Great funny captures .
