I searched in vain through my shots of summer poppies to find one I which hadn't already used. No poppies in the garden; no poppy wreathes, yet, at the war memorial in the village.
And then, on our morning walk with Jinks, and as we passed Tesco Express, I noticed this poppy on the front of the delivery lorry parked in the forecourt. I spoke to the driver who told me poppies are currently on the front of all the lorries.
Well done you ! Like you I had no unused red poppy photo ( only the yellow poppy ! ) and all I have is the feeble little poppy I had to pin on my coat !! -- so I may pass on this one !
