little dog - big stick

It was hard to get a shot of this little dog with his stick. He kept laying it down at my feet, standing back, and looking expectantly at me! You can probably see his tail wagging and the stick moving.

A man fishing just nearby on the bridge had caught 3 fish in the River Itchen. He told me that at a previous location that morning he had caught 45 fish. I asked what he did with them. He said that he throws them back in the water...............
