I've tried on more than one occasion to get a shot of this decorative gravestone with not too much luck. I think it's worked a bit better in b&w conversion + a bit of tinkering.
it must have been hard to do because of the texture blending in the the background, but you have done this really well, I am impressed. the focus is solely on the angle fav
We walked past the chuchyard today to buy the newspaper and I had a look and found that this was erected in 1925 to remember one Thomas Lavington who died aged 62 - yes,I think it must have been expensive funeral furniture.
I love this shot! Your processing really brings out the detail in the stone. Got to admit that I'm looking for the TARDIS in the background though. :-)
I'll now need to go back and see if I can read the inscription!
