I am intrigued with the boats dotted about at the top......I thought at first they were bales of straw....had to get my glasses on! Mud is rather interesting .....all those lines & bubbles etc.

A great shot of those muddy river banks. Reminds me on my sailing live. When I sailed the coastal trade on many little places on many muddy rivers. ( Coastal trade was , often in winter time, the sail around the coast of England and get the cargo from different small harbours/towns/villages )

I thought you might. The yellow ferry you commented on in one of my pics goes from Felixstowe to Harwich. I was brought up in Ipswich but have not been there for years and guess it has changed beyond recognition.

Even when I was sailing I sometimes only did remember I have been there when I was in the city again and recognize it.
