We travelled from Hampshire, through Devon and Dorset, to Cornwall.
Brilliant sunshine and an ever-changing landscape: sheep and lambs in fields, bluebell woods, bright splashes of yellow oilseed rape, villages with names like Piddletrenthide, tidily newly thatched cottages - nowhere to stop.
But at last Ray was able to give me this photo op on a country road.
I'm sorry to hear about your aunt, Hazel. Hasn't she featured in some of your photos? I hope you are able to enjoy a little of Cornwall despite the sad circumstances.
We spent a beautiful holiday in Cornwall many years ago. Still want to come back some time.
Babs, yes, and thank you, I thought to myself that she would be pleased we are enjoying this week in Cornwall around her funeral.....
Oh very amusing!!!
