a green landscape

We travelled from Hampshire, through Devon and Dorset, to Cornwall.

Brilliant sunshine and an ever-changing landscape: sheep and lambs in fields, bluebell woods, bright splashes of yellow oilseed rape, villages with names like Piddletrenthide, tidily newly thatched cottages - nowhere to stop.

But at last Ray was able to give me this photo op on a country road.

Could easily be a country road in NZ. Great name for a village but I read the middle part as 'then' rather than tren.
