a white one by quietpurplehaze

a white one

I found 3 poppies had opened overnight when I did my 'tour' of the garden this morning.

Jinks has recovered from whatever made him sick yesterday and has made our decision on the new floor for the lounge - definitely not carpet!
Beautiful bloom ,capture , focus , light --fav

Good to know I'm not the only one doing a 'tour of the estate' first thing in the morning!! Usually when I'm still in my dressing gown and making me late for work!!! Beautiful poppy, love all the detail inside.

A lovely flower, I like the way the white petals fold round and seem to hold the purple centre.

What beautifully intense colour in the center, and nice focus to really highlight that area.
I used to have a few different poppies in the garden but, over the years most of them have died out, with the exception of the plainest, single, bright orange which has managed to seed itself here and there and survived my rather neglectful gardening.
