How to...... by quietpurplehaze

How to......

1 - pick up a crutch from the floor
2 - help your 'partner' get undressed
3 - get the washing out of the machine
4 - pick up litter and put it in the bin
5 - wait patiently
6 - push a drawer shut with your nose

These are a few snapshots I took during a demo by assistance dogs in training at Canine Partners 'partnership ceremony' day earlier this week.
Incredible.

These dogs are amazing and I love how you have presented this. The highlight of the week for mum was when the therapy dog visited the home.

@Cherrill

Cherrill, thank you. I wanted Jinks to be a therapy dog but he has never calmed down enough and at nearly 14 I think there is no hope!

It is really amazing what they can learn and do. There is a gal who visits our church- her dog is trained to detect seizures and another gal who has a trained therapy dog- she helps with people who have been traumatized in one way or another. Amazing animals!
