Second try - afternoon light b&w!

After seeing David's @yrhenwr version of my 'afternoon light' in b&w I decided to have another try myself.

I sent myself the colour version on an email from my laptop to my iPad where I used a b&w 'pre-set' (is that the the correct word?) on a free truncated version of PSE to convert it.

I think it's better than my original attempt at least....

Well thank you for the comment and for the help and encouragement! I decided to try some of several b&w settings on my Fuji X20 but they have come out very badly so I think the PSE truncated edition is my salvation..........

I love both the sky and the water, the curve gives a sense of perspective too. Sorry I'm way behind again, but a death in the family has been my priority this week as it means a journey up north for the funeral.
