We found Jinks stuck and clinging on halfway down the stairs on Christmas morning. After being gathered up and taken downstairs, he was a bit shaky on his paws for a bit but soon recovered.
And so he lives to bark another day. Being 14, he sleeps soundly a lot now and I sometimes have to look to check he is still breathing.
He was barking at nothing this morning when I took him out in the very frosty back garden. I confess that I am more pleased than annoyed to hear him bark now!
Yes, it was & we've put up the stairgate now, kept from when the children were small.
