fitting together

From the top floor of the museum in Chichester, it's possible to see the cathedral bell tower.

On the window of the museum is marked the outline of the tower.

I spent a little while trying different angles to match the two up.

Side by side was the closest I could manage.
I thought you'd been adding some additional art work, but I see they've helped you out! That makes an interesting difference!

What an interesting experiment Hazel may have to cheat draw it on clear acetate film then slide the film along the window to line up, lol:)

I wonder who drew it and why and, if they were tracing the outline what angle they were at when they did it.

@gardencat

I think it's official i.e. by the museum staff. There's a 'drawing' of the whole cathedral a bit further along the window. I don't suppose they thought mad photographers would try to line them up with the cathedral buildings!

This is really creative! I'm glad you described in your narrative where the drawing came from. I like how you've aligned them (and glad you didn't magic marker a museum window!!).

@taffy

Taffy, thanks. Ray was in the museum next door and museums bore me a bit so this was much more interesting!
