A new agapanthus/Afican lily Ray bought at the specialist nursery last year now in flower in our garden. I'm looking forward to going again this year as last time I found a lovely stranger and lots of flower shots.

You need to be close to your subject. Use a wide aperture/macro lens and have some diffused light or points of light behind ithe subject something like 4 feet behind works for me. I have been practising! The light in this shot was sunlight filtering through wisteria leaves

They grow along the levadas in Madeira. This one is unusual for its color.
