amaryllis

We bought an amaryllis bulb, ready planted, at the weekend and Ray suggested that I take a shot of it each week to see its progress. So here's this week's photo. The label just reads red/white but it's also in 3 other languages so I shall call it my amaryllis rouge/blanc. (Definitely more poetic - to me anyway). Looking ahead, I think it will make better photographs than an all red bloom.
