looks a peaceful scene.........

........the only difficulty being that this is the car park of this restaurant. The river runs the other side of the building. The road behind where I stood on the grass verge to take the shot was also flooded and closed for 5 days.
We saw on TV news the mess inside - just heartbreaking for the landlord and staff. This is at Mansbridge, Southampton.
Fantastic picture and reflection. Sorry about all of the floosing. You are in our thoughts.

Whilst it makes a gorgeous lakeside style shot, it is so awful that this beautiful building is flooded, goodness know the damage that has been done to it. Makes a pretty shot but with sadness too

Great reflections! It is so upsetting for all the people involved. I can't believe there hasn't been some sort of appeal to help get people back on their feet.

It looks so peaceful and beautiful - until we read the story of what this represents. So heart-breaking for all those whose homes and livelihoods have been so damaged.

Looks like a beautiful English pub beside the lake! Yes we'd be happy to share a little of your rain here if that would help!
