Confused Flicker! by radiogirl

Confused Flicker!

One day I'm raking the next like this Flicker I'm wondering where spring went.
The Flicker is a woodpecker often feeding on ants,. He has quizzical look about him, wondering where his terrestrial environment has disappeared to!

Thank you for stopping by and for your comments and favs from yesterdays Cobalt Train Station. Greatly appreciated.
Wow! What a great close-up of a flicker. Got a chuckle from your title and write-up on this guy's thoughts. Crazy weather.

I think that's the look we all have had. Oddly I saw my Flicker this morning. Great to see them back. Great capture. Sorry about the snow.

Great close up, very attractive bird Kathy! I suppose it is a bit annoying for the animals too, not knowing what the weather is doing one day to the next!

I think the weather so far this year has been confusing to many of us, including the flicker. Now if only that white snow would disappear and be replaced by white blossom ...

This is great!! I've never seen or heard of a flicker before! I love the coloring of his feathers and how puffed up he is. Love it!
