Cute Chick! by radiogirl

Cute Chick!

Just another cute chick out dining in my backyard.
Love these little guys you can walk right up to them to take their picture, if your not careful they will land on your hand.
To see a photo I took last year of a chickadee eating out of my husband's hand check the link below.

Thank you for your comments and favs, hope your enjoying your weekend!
Definitely a cute little guy! What is he? Reminds me of a chickadee. We have a couple who nest in our light pole each year, and they definitely do NOT let us come near them. Of course, they're also raising babies then, too, so maybe that's why...

@shesnapped Hi Ashley thanks for stopping by this is a chickadee and with some patience you can get them to eat out of your hand.

If I even blink they fly off and I am inside. Must be the Canadian variety.

Nice shot Kathy !! Love these little loyal feathered friends !! You got some good protein going on there for them, which they need in this cold weather.

I need you to come down here and train mine then! I sure can't get close without them flying off. They have such lovely markings - nice dof here and wonderful detail and lighting.

Love Chickadees! Mine aren't quite as friendly- they come close but not too close. I'm thinking of trying to feed them out of my hand when the next batch of babies are around (Spring). Great shot!

He is so very sweet. Amazing how he survives in the cold there is up there - at least from the pictures you posted these last day. Splendid capture.

cute chick. Joce's backgrounds are cuter! But this one is probably more meaningful to the bird.

Sweet! Our Chickadees ask for food if you pause during a walk. We often feed them and always marvel that they are so trusting!

How cute!! And, what is it exactly that they are eating? That pink stuff on the log looks like wall insulation, but I am sure it is not! Oh, and I loved the picture of the chicadee eating out of your husband's hand! What a treat.....for both!!
