Although it looks like there is still a pretty good climb to the top, in fact I took this image low to the ground alongside a snowbank. The total height of the snowbank is about 3 feet high but I liked the mountainous effect of the windswept snowbank. As you can see I really did enjoy the black and white images and plan to revert to them periodically.

This is SO cool! What a fascinating idea and such a neat pov to achieve this look. Reminds me of one I did a few years ago of water falling over a small rock in a ditch - shot low and up close it looked like a waterfall. This had me definitely fooled. Wonderful. Fav
My first impression was that this was an incredible mountain range! My next thought was "Kathy didn't stay away from B&W for long." I don't think you could've achieved the same drama in color — b&w so works with this.
This is a great illustration of how photography can be misleading in a way- you would never think this was a snow bank it looks so much like mountains!
