Beaver Lodge

These incredible engineering are forever constructing new lodging. In order to do this they take down many large trees, their favorite being poplar and aspen. Thus the expression busy as a beaver!!

Neat capture of his engineering - there's one very busy beaver (or maybe he has help) in a creek near our dam - the Corps of Engineers is continually trying to break up his dam - just rebuilds!
