Do you have an editor at all Kathy? If you do, you might get ambitious and shoot two images (on a tripod of course) one with focus sharply at infinity on the moon and one sharply on the trees, and then merge them together. When it's an issue of focus difference alone it's called "focus stacking." And remove some (most?) of the digital noise from the clouds and sky. This is a perfect frame to do that. Good shooting!
@frankhymus Thank you. An editor? Like Photoshop Elements? I don't have one right now, but plan to get one. I appreciate the info. I'd like to do something more with my photos but will have to settle for what I can do on iPhoto for the time being. Actually, it forces me to be fairly basic; to learn how to use the tools on my camera and to try and to take my time and compose my shots. I do like the things you do with your photos.
