@homeschoolmom Thank you. I have a photo of it that isn't processed and a friend of mine said she thought it was a banana spider. Pretty ordinary looking and about the diameter (legs and all) of a dime.
@sparrowphotography This spider was only about 1 cm. Not nearly as big as some we get here. No I don't think it's dangerous. After doing a little more research I think it's one called a longlegged sac spider. @peterlgrave Well, as long as they don't bother me I set them free when I can. If I could shoo a snake away the same way, I would do it. Thank goodness I don't have a lot of interactions with snakes. @digitalrn Thank you.
