Survivors

The word for today was "hug." Never saw any of those, so I took a photo of my lilies of the valley, which is a bonus word this month. These are called survivors because my husband has mowed them and put out Round Up all along the foundation of the house. These survived.
Oh no! They are a hardy plant, but to survive Round Up! Wow. Nice comp and POV!

You should put a sign on them Kathy.I get into trouble for doing the same thing and mowing anything that i think is a weed.Don,t use roundup though, they are finding out that its probably carcogenic and its in nearly everything we consume .( www.greeninfo)

@susanalena @digitalrn @aat3877 @peterlgrave @tosee @brillomick @craftymeg @pyrrhula Thank you everyone for the lovely comments. I know Round Up is not very ecological, but sometimes, there's no other way besides hiring a gardner and "Thor" is not available. Oh wait, is he the pool guy?
