High rise pattern by randystreat

High rise pattern

I like the solidness of this building. I like all the windows so evenly place in the building. I like how the building is reflected in the still water. The locals call the building the "high rise". It was a juvenile prison for a number of years, but has been closed due to budget cuts. (Probably a good thing in many ways, IMHO.)
Very interesting image and description. I wonder if the building will be re-purposed.

Sad to see a empty building! Beautiful reflections!!

The pattern of the windows caught my eye too. It's always odd to think of a building being empty on the inside.

@cejaanderson @brillomick @lyndemc @peterlgrave @pusspup @jamibann @craftymeg @homeschoolmom @pyrrhula @tosee Thank you one all and all for your wonderful comments. I don't know if there are any plans to use this building for anything else. It's kind of tall and narrow, if you ask me. I was in there one time on a trip with some other youth. It was sort of scary having the bars clang shut behind me as I entered, then riding up in the elevator. I just discovered this pond a few months ago. I will have to visit it again as the weather and seasons change.
