Claddagh by randystreat

Claddagh

word of the day is "Irish". Thought this one on the green background would also serve as the photo for the month of green theme I'm doing
Very nice in so many ways!

I think this is a lovely Irish memento. I believe the hands represent friendship, the heart love, and the crown loyalty. Nice capture.

@cejaanderson @peterlgrave @dibzgreasley @ziggy77 @jamibann @craftymeg @pyrrhula Thank you for responding to my photo of the claddagh. I wish that the focus was just a little sharper. I'm going to check that out. It seems recent close-ups with this lens (kit lens 18-55mm) haven't been as sharp as I'd like them to be. If anyone has any tips, i'd be happy to get them.

Awesome focus. Love the texture on the background.

@altadc Thank you, especially for the comment about the focus. The focus wasn't as clear as I would have liked so I monkeyed about with it in processing. The background is a wool sock.

@randystreat ohh you did a great job with picmonkey. I find silver hard to photograph, they are just so shiny and dull but this one is different!

@lindamp5 Thank you Linda.
@altadc I'm glad to know you have that problem. The jewelry was very shiny and I couldn't capture it very clearly.
