From my trip to Savannah GA. Outside the house where we stayed in the neighbor's backyard. Wouldn't it be wonderful!
Sorry for the load of new photos all at once.
Oranges growing in northern France has the same rarity as hens' teeth. However we've had a huge crop of apples this year...and we're grateful for them.
Some years ago I visited friends in CA. who had a lemon tree growing in their backyard. It was pretty cool to just walk out the backdoor and pick one off the tree for Iced Tea. Nice shot.
@natashajhill Thank you. Yes, they oranges are pretty. I can't believe it took me two days to see them. @craftymeg Margaret, you're so right. I was in Savannah GA which is southeast of where I live, but I didn't know oranges grew even that far north. I guess the tree is in a protected garden. @thewatersphotos You are so right. They're always so much better when they're "off the tree" from Florida. I would imagine they'd be the same off your own tree. @pyrrhula Thank you. I wish it was my garden. Our photography club took a trip to Savannah GA this past weekend and rented a house. This was in the back yard next to the house we were in. @s4sayer Apples are good too but I've always been partial to oranges I'm afraid. @olivetreeann How wonderful that would be, Ann. Thank you. @lyndemc Scent. Except for lemon, I really never thought about that. I bet it would be wonderful.
