#31 2017

For the weekly theme of traditions. My family always pulled crackers at Christmas. This is a tradition that I have shared with my husband and friends as we gather at Christmas. What fun
Do they have a wish in side and a paper crown?

I had never seen them used at Christmas- usually birthday parties. But my daughter-in-law's family has a friend who brings them to all the Christmas gatherings. Festive shot!

We never miss out on our crackers at Christmas either. But my hubby is a bit bah-humbug - he doesn't like them! Lovely image of such fun items!

@overalvandaan Oh yes indeed, Saxa. And a joke and a little present, too.
@olivetreeann Thank you Ann
@jamibann Thank you for sharing Issi. I forgot them this Christmas. I was, and it was, perhaps, a little too laid back.
@tosee Thank you Tom
@craftymeg Thank you Margaret. The nice thing about have photo friends in the UK is they know about these things. (My parents were from Canada).
@pyrrhula Thank you Pyrrhula. It is so easy to forget them and I think it keeps your family alive.
