In your face

Out of the archives. Quite a busy day. Will catch up with each of you hopefully tomorrow.
Is one of the Nasturtium family? Eye catching amongst Summer's pink-red spectrum.

@s4sayer Margo, this is a petunia. "Petunia is genus of 35 species of [1] flowering plants of South American origin, closely related to tobacco, cape gooseberries, tomatoes, deadly nightshades, potatoes and chili peppers in the same family, Solanaceae. The popular flower of the same name derived its epithet from the French, which took the word petun, meaning "tobacco," from a Tupiā€“Guarani language." Wikipedia I had never seen these yellow striped ones before and thought that I'd put some (with the contrasting pink and yellow ones, which are also a new combo for me) in a pot on the deck. Thanks for viewing and commenting.
@jamibann Thank you Issi. The pink ones are also pretty. I couldn't decide so bought both.
@mandygravil Thank you Mandy.
