Orange eggs? by randystreat

Orange eggs?

Isn't it funny that they call these Jelly Bird Eggs. Wonder what a jelly bird is? But her eggs are tasty & colorful.

This is also a photo for my get-pushed challenge. It is 100% SOOC and manual settings. Thanks to Caroline for giving me this push. I tend not to shoot in manual mode because I'm lazy. This was shot in a very controlled setting so manual mode is not so difficult. If I get a chance by Saturday to shoot outside, I'll try another manual shoot.
@carvl Thanks for the push. This is manual totally and also SOOC. I enjoyed this. It was inside so it wasn't too difficult. If I get a chance I'll go outside and try it. I'm nearly as comfortable with it out there.

I've no idea what 'jelly bird eggs' are but I like the soft way in which you've pictured them.

I've never heard of jelly bird eggs- I thought they were jelly beans. I guess I'm uninitiated when it comes to candy! Good for you on the manual settings and well done on the challenges!

Nice orange color and good for you for going manual. My camera is still so much smarter than I am.

@fbailey @vignouse @craftymeg @mandygravil @pyrrhula @olivetreeann @tunia Thank you for your support on the manual shot. I went back to Aperture Priority today. Just don't have the time to mess with my camera some days. I often forget there are so many differences between the two sides of the Atlantic. This are the name on the package of jelly beans made by Brach's Confections. The candy is very popular at Easter time, but available throughout the year.
