Flight 93 Memorial

Our road trip took us to the Flight 93 National Memorial. We just had to stop. The top photo shows the direction the plane took to crash into the field (along the area between the two white walls) and the large boulder was placed at the farthest point it was. The field between is called the debris field. The lower photo shows part of the visitors center called the end of the path overlook. They may not be seen clearly but the words "A common field one day. A field of honor forever." is etched in the glass that overlooks the field seen in the top photo. It was a moving experience to be there.
A very touching memorial - so nicely presented by you too.

We drove past that once, but didn't get to stop. I've been to the World Trade Center memorial, though. It's a very emotional place.

@homeschoolmom Never been to the World Trade Center. I would imagine that's an emotional place to be, too.
