The storm heads northeast

Who knew we'd have blue skies and it would be warm and muggy after the rain from the hurricaine swirled away. These clouds are looking at where it went.
hope you stayed safe!

@overalvandaan @fbailey Thank you Saxa and Felicity for your comments. Yes, I'm ok. The medium rain droned on all day and made me restless, but no other harm done.

I'm glad to see you're ok! I've been reading about massive flooding in several North Carolina communities and was hoping yours wasn't one of the ones hit. I like the breezy feel of this shot. We now have rain from Florence and I'm expecting we'll have flooding too because everything is so soggy already. Nice shot!

Yes the river has probably iron and peat in it to make it the colour it was !!

Fab perspective. Hope your experience wasn't too bad. We've got a storm at the mo but nothing like the ones over with you.

@pyrrhula @olivetreeann @craftymeg @hajeka @kwind @cocobella @mandygravil @gardenfolk @ziggy77 Thank you Ferry, Ann, Margaret, H-J, KWind, Corinne, Mandy, CC and Jo. We faired much better than our brother and sister Carolinians at the coast did. Medium rain all day one day, then it blew away.
