I hope this was the worst of it for you though. Seems some areas have been hit very badly. Our little river is also quite high- but not like this. It reminds me though to take a drive down to the boat launch. I won't have to walk- I can take shots from the car! Good shot- it really shows the swiftness of the water too.
@homeschoolmom I've been thinking about you. Hope you made it through Michael unscathed. @30pics4jackiesdiamond We're good here. Thank you. @jamibann Thank you Issi. Yes, very muddy. @haskar Thank you @hajeka Thank you. My neighbor told me today that we had 5-1/2 inches of rain. @kwind Yes. thanks for viewing and commenting. @fbailey It rained hard, and then stopped! About like that. Today, beautiful! @pyrrhula Thanks Ferry. There are many places that have been terribly dry. It makes it hard, especially when it's really hot, too. @bkbinthecity Indeed. Thanks. @olivetreeann Yes, it had stopped raining here, but the water from up rivers and streams still cause local waterways to be too high. @tunia Thank you Tunia.
@thewatersphotos It's across town from where I live, maybe three miles. I was fine, as I live on a ridge. Just soggy! @olenadole Yes, we had a lot of rain (perhaps 5-1/2 inches within about 24 hours because of Hurricaine Michael. I wasn't flooded, but many of the streams were and the rivers, too.
@mandygravil Thank you Mandy for the views and comments. I appreciate your thankfulness related to me being flooded out. I think we forget sometimes in our enthusiasm to enjoy nature and live with it that Mother Nature is always a force to be reckoned with.
