Great capture of those ``speculaas`` cookies. They are traditional in our country on 5 Dec. as we have ``Sinterklaas`` celebrathing. ( some like you Santa Claus)

@pyrrhula If there are any left tomorrow, may have to photograph them again in honor of Sinterklaas. They sell these at a grocery store called Aldi, which has German roots. I love their spices and patterns stamped on the cookies.
