Shading the eyes

Get Pushed Challenge 411
My Get Pushed partner challenged me to take an image that includes deliberate lens flare. My challenges: to research the appropriate camera settings for this type of shot and to figure out where the sun was when I went out to shoot and to try to see the subject well enough for it to be straight.
