Later that night

The same view as yesterday about 8 hours later
Oh I am so glad you did this! It’s wonderful to have the comparison shot. Did you get much snow?

@grammyn I didn't measure it, but it covered the grass. Then it turned into a rain/snow mix and finally quit. The snow melted off the road and driveway and some stepping stones in the yard in the late morning but the snow continued to fall until late afternoon.

@randystreat I am so jealous. We just got cold and some rain. Seeing your picture got me excited for the possibility of snow here later this weekend

Fun comparison and after our unexpected blizzard the other day, I'm glad it's falling by you and not here!
January 9th, 2021
It looks so so cold
January 9th, 2021
Not so nice ... looks cold and wet!
January 9th, 2021
I hope you took this from the door under cover!
January 9th, 2021
Yikes. What a difference a few hours make.
January 9th, 2021
Oh! I hope you got the mail!! :- )
Nice capture of the snow.
January 9th, 2021
Here it comes!!
January 9th, 2021
Stay-in-the-house kind of weather.
January 9th, 2021
nice snow shot
January 9th, 2021
Not so good weather but lovely shot.
January 9th, 2021
That looks bitterly cold. Brrrr!
January 9th, 2021
Wow. Looks better on a pic. Prefer to stay warm at home .
You`re very right. That`s also one of the reasons I like 365 to.
January 10th, 2021
Oh, brrrr... Stay warm!!
January 10th, 2021
Whoa! Great comparison. I like the snow bokeh. Stay warm. Rain, snow, slush combo isn’t fun.

@grammyn I think they thought we might get some too but they've all but nixed that now.
@olivetreeann We got a bit, just enough to cover the grass although it snowed all night and didn't quit until later in the afternoon. The nice kind of snow - you know. It looks pretty and the roads are clear.
@kjarn It was in the low 30's upper 20's (F).
@jamibann It was a wet snow. I guess the ground was pretty warm because it melted on the pavement by 10am.
@pusspup Stepped out of the carport long enough to get the right view.
@wakelys Yes. And maybe I'll post one that I took in the direction of the mailbox the next morning (although not the same exact view) that shows the snow out there. (I am sort of milking this for all its worth.)
@thewatersphotos Waited until later to get it. Thanks Gary.
@craftymeg It came but it wasn't much. Just enough to be pretty.
@tunia Absolutely. I ran out before this started and filled up the bird feeder so I wouldn't have to get out.
@jernst1779 Thanks Jean
@haskar Thank you
@serendypyty Low 30's/high 20's (F) but damp cold. I went in and snuggled up in the bed.
@pyrrhula Thanks Ferry. I was inside most of the time.
@aikiuser Done! It's still pretty cold although most of the snow has melted.
January 10th, 2021
@mcsiegle Thank you Mary. Someone suggested on here to use the flash when it's snowing. It really lit up the snowflakes, which were big and wet at that time.
January 10th, 2021
I just did a conversion and that’s below zero in centigrade, now that’s cold!
January 10th, 2021
thank you for the challenge you set me... for your challenge - how about a faceless portrait or selfie?
January 11th, 2021
@northy I will give it my best shot.
January 11th, 2021
@kjarn I can "guesstimate" above 0 in C but below I'm not sure. It was chilly.
January 11th, 2021
There it is!
