The pattern of play

Get Pushed Challenge 479
My partner challenged me to try a shot that emphasizes rhythm or a repeated pattern...
@frappa77 This is not great but it's the best I could come up with this week. Thank you for the challenge.

This is a very interesting interpretation Kathy, well done

This is interesting, I would to see what the shadows on a wall look like, when you send straight light through those "woods"...

they look a little random initially, lovely play.

Great interpretation of the challenge - and would be intrigued to see Mona's @mona65 idea of the light and shadows

A fascinating approach to the challenge. Nice shallow DOF and light and shadows

I hope that these pieces behaved while you were setting this up. I imagine the frustration if they kept falling down.

Well done. Love this.

Thoughtful approach to your challenge

Great pattern. Love the shapes and shadows.

@kjarn Thank you Kathy.
@mona65 The photo of the shadows probably won't happen. The dominoes have be "crashed" and put away. Thank you Mona.
@pusspup They are a bit more random than expected. Thanks Wylie.
@ziggy77 Thank you Jo. May or may not happen one day. Will have to try and set it up to see one day when I have a bit of extra time. @grammyn Thanks Katy. I can always count on you to give a good word.
@wakelys Did you see me try to set them up? Tough, especially on the multi-layered fabric. I wanted a light base and that was the only way I could get it. I held my breath and took the photos.
@haskar Thanks so much Hannah.
@craftymeg Thank you Margaret.
@thewatersphotos Thank you Gary. I really appreciate that.

These would make an interesting herring bone pattern laying down as well. Good shot.

@olivetreeann Yes, they would. Perhaps I should have paid more attention to making a deliberate rather than random pattern. Thank you Ann.

@randystreat No, I think this is a unique way that you often approach these challenges- it's what makes you a good photographer!

@olivetreeann My head is getting big but thank you.
