In memory of Joan

I went to a funeral yesterday afternoon that had a beautiful casket spray of roses and other pink flowers. The deceased's daughter asked everyone present to take a flower.

@serendypyty I thought so too but felt a bit guilty about taking a flower. Of course they were just going to freeze and I didn't want to hurt her daughter's feelings. Thank you.
@grammyn Thanks Katy. I wasn't actually that close to the woman who died. My husband was very fond of her daughter and I sang in the choir with her for awhile.
