Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. The flowers are growing and blooming and the grass is growing too. A little easier to pull out though. I rapidly went through what I knew about the exposure triangle to get a setting that wasn't totally blown out by the noontime sun and I feel I did succeed. Thank you one and all.
